Over 80 men gathered at the Grand Rapids Auto Gallery this past weekend for the Autorama & BBQ to check out the cars, chow down on BBQ and listen to an inspiring message from Pastor Sam.
Men of all ages perused the collection of antique, custom and classic cars housed at the Grand Rapids Auto Gallery. In all, the gallery housed over 200 vehicles, including the film-famous Delorean, a few 1970’s Camper Vans, a 1924 Ford Model T and a brand new Tesla Model S.
As the men feasted on the incredible ribs catered by BD’s BBQ, Pastor Sam challenged the men with a message about self-worth and their individual value. He taught that each man was an original creation of God and that they are valuable in his sight. Like the classic cars around them, they too can be restored through Jesus.
All in all, the Autorama & BBQ was a great opportunity for the men of Grand Rapids First to come together and strengthen their friendships, while enjoying an afternoon full of classic cars and great food.
